You don't 'need' an email address. There are bars where you can put your email address. Therefore,you can also type in your email on your profile . Hope this helps!

If you type your email address on your profile, you will be gagged. Email accounts are considered to be personal information and are not allowed on the site.

Luckily, I never did it then, I was just wondering on how the email on this site works, and if it required my email address.
