It was a long time ago that I read this, but it was on numerous different sites, and three of my high school science teachers have taught me this as well.

Anything is possible but the probability (scientific term used often in research) of a human physically transforming into a mythological creature is very low.

I personally believe it is possible to educate all of those who feel they know (have belief) that anything is possible the difference between possibility and probability. The probability on this actually occurring is less than 100% therefore I understand that though it may be possible to educate all on this topic the probability does not reflect all actually learning.

*I agree with Rako's post. I have seen on this site that people often say that certain things are impossible because science says its impossible, like the subjects mention earlier. now if I'm right (For Example) science has created fire and "fireballs", now not to what most people think but a fireball in its own right. Now according to that logic creating a fireball should be possible with magic because science has done it as well.
*Also I agree with Moegami about how you cant create something from nothing without the energy equal to 21.5 Megatons of TNT , but from what I have seen in rituals and spells that are about shape shifting, they do require existing parts from animals in order to work. (For Example) Alot of spells and rituals I've seen require the fur of the animal included in the list of materials. now I'm not going to make a very detail list of all that is needed for its different depending on what spell/ritual you use but also the regain it came from. I'm also not going to explain in a scientific manner on how it would work for it could be different based on spell/ritual and regain.
*Now I dont have exact citations for the "mind over matter, anything is possible" phrase that Rako mention, but I have also heard of this phrased and I do know exact examples of mind over matter happening. (For Example) the placebo effect and nocebo effect, (now this one is going to get alot of criticism because it was from a show)Miroslaw Magola from stan lee's super humans, personally I think that is a good example of mind over matter, another is tibetan monks with there g Tum-mo meditation. theirs more but I'm going to leave it at that, but they are very good examples that with mind over matter, anything is possible. And lastly alot of sites can be named that show where they get there information or "evidence". heck even Wikipedia shows where they get there references from.
