About a week, or two, someone didnt stop asking me ifi could find the "sub tuum praesidium" chant, i guess he/she didnt bother looking it up, and i deleted his/her messages so i cant remember the name. Im sorry.

Anyway, i looked it up and hope to share it, this is a "under my protection chant in latin. gonna post it in latin, then in english. Im sorry if i mispell anything, i'll take full blame if i mispell even a letter. Enjoy.

Sub tuum praesidium confugimus, Sancta Dei Genitrix.
Nostras deprecationes ne despicias in necessitatibus nostris,
sed a periculis cunctis libera nos semper,
Virgo gloriosa et benedicta.
-
Under thy protection we seek refuge, O Holy Mother of God;
In our needs, despise not our petitions,
but deliver us always from all dangers,
O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.

We take refuge under thy protection,
holy Mother of God:
Do not despise our prayers
in time of necessity:
but always free us
from all dangers,
O blessed and glorious Virgin.

I am to believe that this is the correct translation.

You both said the same thing. I loved translating Latin in school. This is very good. It makes me nostalgic.

actually when you said the 'correct translation" its the same as what i said, but its said in old english, so words, 'thy, O holy,' etc were used like that
