Yes we all know she needs to be calm and believe that this hard time will go, I see it as testing time for her... I think she needs someone who can care for her... she must be pushing people away, do you any 'guy' friend of her who can help?
Also I sense things will be okay by themselves and this girl will handle all of it by herself, she needs little help... but yeah just be there and let her parents know if possible.

you need to talk to someone who has PTSD. And they shouldn't ask you if you're a drama queen either. PTSD is very real. I had a whole year of treatment, and I still have a lot of work to do. My nightmares are gone, one good thing. Is five sessions enough? It's a beginning. You'll find out about your "safe place" and a few of the basics. It depends on how bad your PTSD is. Write if you like. May the Goddess look over you.
