what is the desired outcome? in the past i've cast a weight loss aid when i needed to slim down a bit for an outfit. more often i say a chant to Hathor when i'm washing my face for clean skin. they both seem to work well. the weight loss spell makes me get a headache when i eat unhealthy food, and the chant, if i haven't kept up with washing my face daily, i might wind up breaking out a little, but it goes away after a day.
point is, what are you looking for, and are you aware of what the results will be? don't expect instant results, don't expect your hair/eyes/skin to change colour, and don't expect to just cast once and laze around the house in your same old routine. magick doesn't work that way, especially beauty spells. weight loss spells require a new diet and exercise. a spell for clean skin needs a daily routine, at the very least a new soap to use. [sorry if anything sounded harsh, many people don't know what beauty spells can do] of course, it needs to be said, don't cat because you want to look like the people in magazines and movies, there's more to beauty then that. cast a beauty spell because you want to change something, not because others demand it of you.
