You are asking a really hard question. Most if not all methods of summoning spirits rely on theurgy, ie looking towards a higher being for help. All the good books i know that teach evocation relly on a greater being. So if you really want to practice evocation, experience has shown the theurgy is the best way.
Summoning spirits by konstantinos is a good book to begin with

Thanks freethinker7, I did a little more research on theurgy and realized what you said makes sense. If you don't mind could you give me the names of the books you mentioned please.

If you want to go into the evocation artform you should know that you will find a lot of old grimoires. These can be really useful to an experience practicioner but are next to worthless to a beginner. The best thing you could do is read a lot of books, learn from them and use that knowledge to create your own personalized ritual. I would suggest at least skimming the Franz Bardon books, the secrets of high magic by Francis Melville is a good introductory to high magic and provides an evocation ritual. Modern Magick by Daniel Michael, is very thourough. The darkside of the moon by Basil crouch or Mastering Witchcraft by Paul Huson is good if you want to go the witchcraft/ pagan way of evocation.
