if that's what you're asking, it depends on the spell, but basically, you need to cast a circle, meditate to clear your mind of all thoughts, [except the task at hand] charge energy visualize, focus, and ground remaining energy. final point, action. if you cast a wealth spell, look for a job, you cast a love spell, talk to the person, cast a beauty spell, get into a habit of washing your face/makeup/hair/etcetera.

some spells call for special times, like 3 days after a full moon, or on a saturday. while most require a circle, some don't, see kitchen magick for example.

what you should do is practice circle casting, basic energy work, and meditation, before trying spells. once you've got that all down, start slow with low forms of magic like candle spells.
