The TRUTH(Inverted Cross)

The inverted cross is not a symbol meaning anything against christ. In fact, it has been around longer than Christianity. Truthfully, it is not even a symbol of Satan (who is not the devil christianity corrupted the name to be.) It is simply a model thay demonstrates proper alignment of the Chakras.
Thought I should clear that up.

Infact Inverted Cross and Cross itself are adopted symbols . I as GothicShadow can adopt certain symbols and use them in my religion like Christianity and Satanism did. This doesn't make them holy or unholy and cross is also a math symbol dear friends , is it holy? I don't think so by your reaction with maths...

Yeah the inverted cross is a satanic symbol, but no more than an adopted symbol.
Before this it was applied as being the cross of Nero with a tweak; it was inverted with the horizontal arms broken down diagonally, and placed into a circle. This was known as the peace symbol; the cross of Nero; or the witch's foot. A symbol created to show that true peace is without Christianity.
Whether the peace sign came before or after I cannot say, but I can say the source for it being known as Saint Peter's Cross is because when he was to be crucified he asked to be crucified upside-down, for he did not feel worthy enough to be crucified upright as Christ was.
Any pre-Christian usage of the inverted cross I am unsure of.

St. Peter the first pope was crucified upside down because the Romans are wacky [actually i think it's because Peter wanted to share the same fate as Jesus and the Romans didn't want that, but i prefer saying they were joking around.] it's the symbol for the pope. look at the pope's chair, it's on it, i also think he wears an inverted cross. people just look at it and go 'it's the opposite of the crucifix so anyone with it is the opposite of christian, therefore you're a satanist.'

now, i haven't researched very far into the inverted crucifix, i'm just going with what i learned in a religion course, so it could mean other things, that's just what i was taught. you are correct though, it's not actually a sign of Satan, it's just been adopted as one. that's the thing with symbols, if you feel you gain power from it, then you can use it, it's not the power of the symbol but the power you perceive it has. a fine example would be a swastika, it's an Indian symbol used in many religions in the area that directly translates as 'to be good' but then you get Hitler who takes a shine to it and the next thing you know having the symbol around your house means you're a Nazi. it's just propaganda, humans are a rather jumpie breed [see the Salem witch trials] researching things and trying to calmly explain situations will help, not everyone will believe you, but it's all you can really do.

I will be following this post. I don't know much on the subject, but I have always wondered about the inverted cross as well as other religions. I myself am a Christian, but I am very open to other faiths. I'm not the one to just shut out somebody because they view things differently. I have likewise heard that it is an adopted symbol. How does it represent the alignment of the Chakras? Is there two chakra points across from the root or sacral?

A bit on that swastika mention: not only was it found in India, symbol actually predates India back to the Norse who use it as a symbol for Thor and his hammer Mjolnir. Most of Hitler's ideology he borrowed from the Old Norse beliefs, such as Thor's Hammer/swastika, the idea of a perfect race -the Aesir, and such. Personally, I believe Hitler was a True Believer.

I actually wear a silver Mjolnir pendant replica from the era of Christianity raping the Old Faithe, which is designed to look like both the hammer and a cross. It hangs from the handle "upside down" and so I hear all about "upside down" crosses and Satanism.

I heard a while ago somewhere, and I do not know how much truth there is here, that the proper way to perform a crucifixion was upside down and so by hanging Christ "rightside up" they were really dishonoring him. But I do not know so much about that kind of thing.

There are plenty of other symbols, however, that I contest are -much- more "demonic" than an upside cross. Take the Baphomet, for example.

Nekoshima, St. Peter felt that he didn't diserve to die the way that Jesus did. He actually asked to be crucified upside down.
