If you haven't done so already, I would suggest starting with your basics before attempting to practice any from of magic.

Basics:
*Meditation
*Visualization
*Grounding
*Centering
*Energy Work
*Belief in yourself and your abilities
*Circle Casting and Releasing
*Correspondences (colors, days, lunar phases, etc)

These can be found in the featured articles section. You might also want to check out Newbie Central, Tips, and Faqs on the Home tab.

If you are interested in a Pagan religion, I would suggest doing as much research on it as you can. Learn its history, religious principles, etc.
