It's not exactly a conspiracy (an illegal plan or secretive action usually in a government or monarchy of sorts). More or less just a nasty rumor.

The Illuminati really aren't Satanists by definition.
I think this website could use a reintroduction to what Satanism is.

The amount of misinformation that showed up in this thread from a simple few posts is astonishing.
No, Freemasons are not Satanists, in order to join the Knights Templar you must be a devoted Catholic.
Here is a collection of freemasonry documentaries, googling the name of each one will lead you to their sources.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9QH_nlTm2w

Freemasons at no point in time directly supported the killing of witches, However the Knights Templar did, The two organizations merged sometime in the later 1800s, the Knights Templar becoming the powerful mason masters. There is hundreds upon thousands examples of Freemasonry symbolism in our country. Because they founded this country.
Many historical leaders were freemasons, aswell as inventors and the founders of Hollywood. Their influence is found in many forms of American Culture.

Freemasonry since its influence in great Britain, has always had a rule of accepting people of all religious descendings. Their only religious rule is that you cannot be Atheist, you must have some form of spiritual influence when doing their rituals, that you can call the Grand Architect.

Freemasons take most of their Symbolism from the Egyptians. Its the theory of Building Up Man like an architect, for the betterment of society and her people.

On the American Seal (for the mistranslation from earlier in the thread.)
E PLURIBUS UNUM (In the USA Seal)

One from many (representing the US as a unified nation formed through the cooperation of many smaller units).

ANNUIT COEPTIS

Fortune (God, if you must) has favored (or smiled upon) our undertakings.

NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM

A new world of the ages.

The Illuminati and the Rosicrucian Order was founded in the United States, some time after its birth. However, it did not have direct contact in the birth of the country, the bill of rights, the dollar bill or otherwise.

The main symbols of Freemasonry include the All Seeing Eye, The pyramid, and the most popular Square Compass.

The Rosicrucians use Owls, wings and orbs. They are young, and are more secretive for being a small organization.

I don't know who was on your campus, but it certainly wasn't real Freemasons. Please everyone, do research before you speak.

Well well my mistake. I heard they were the modernized version of devil worship. I guess I was told wrong. Knew second to nothing about the masons. I heard about them, but knew nothing. I was told the illuminati worshipped Satan like I do. Is that wrong or not?

They go by many different names. They started since Babylon, when one if the archangels came down to break the children of god, so that they would be given a choice to follow Yahweh, in the future. That is why you have so many different languages, which made the children of Yahweh spread throughout the land, and it is the 'Illuminati's' job to unify the world, order through chaos and punishment, so that Lucifer can take his army and pounce Israel, specifically Jerusalem. Why Jerusalem? Jerusalem is supposed to be and is the holy land that of the Jews and the Gentiles, who believe and follow Yahweh, by the Holy Ghost through Jesus. Jerusalem represents the physical kingdom of Yahweh, the father. Through looking at all the biblical apocrypha then one can use that reference as a measuring stick, in order to see the works of the so called, Illuminati and its symbolism. The illuminati started because Yahweh ordered for his children, His children, to be confused by having one of the archangels curse them, and this curse made man speak many different languages. That saying, 'There is nothing new underneath the sun,' is apparently true, because if everything once was the way it was before and it is prophesied for these things to come once again, it sounds like the Illuminati is on its way to making the world into a new Babylon, so to speak.

Other than witchcraft being an art, yet it being that of many religions in relation to bits and pieces of the 'mystery' religion, the 'craft' was the religion of Babylon. All the things that we discuss and believe in, on this site, was exactly what Babylon was about, in the ways of religion, at that time. Witchcraft is probably the world's fastest growing religion, in the respects that the 'craft' actually comprises not just of one thing, but many practices.

It is comprehensive if you actually want to learn the details, within the so called Illuminati. The reason why I say the Illuminati goes by many names, and is basically everywhere, is because times and eras change throughout history. It is like how Wicca wasn't even Wicca a hundred years ago. If you are old enough, or have a perceptive open-mind, you will start to realize and theorize that history didn't happen because it happened, 'history' happens, and has happened, because someone conspired it to happen.

Then when people argue amongst themselves it sounds like this, 'There is so much evil in this world, nothing makes any sense, we are arguing amongst ourselves, and we wonder why but we just don't get it.'

I would suggest reading, Behold A Pail Horse, by William Cooper. It is a very interesting and extensive book. Be warned though, it is do dark and disturbing that I fell into a deep depression, reading it. Yet I think I had to read that book, because it was an omen that had to take place, in order to fulfill a generational curse. It is not that I am christian, but I do believe in the bible, but I don't read it anymore. I do like the Book of Enoch, and I do read that and listen to it.

When and if there is such a unison of countries, that then makes written constitutions null and void. Times are a changing. It was just 3-4 generations ago that in some places, when settlers came into aborigionals' lives, the common cold did and was able to wipe out villages. Then it is like, 'what's next or what can be next?' Technology is on and has been on the exponential rise, in so many ways.

And what is this thing about Catholics being christian? I can tell you that much, they aren't Christian by any means. Some and most of them may and are good people, don't get me wrong. If you think Christianity is only limited to what denomination you may have grown up in, or if you are limiting Christianity to the classical self-justification, just so you can make yourself believe that Catholicism is an excuse for practicing the craft, so you don't have to tell yourself that the craft is bad, because you may make yourself believe and others believe that Catholicism is all the bad and evil in the world. I can see and feel how Catholic mass ia very blasphemes, because if you feel the difference between the repetition of the pious words, spoken by the priests, and compare it to the singing of the congregation, there is a big difference.

Here is energy 101, from a Satanist. You chant and repeat words without heart, and it says in the bible not to repeat words like this, it creates a different kind of vibe. You say words from the heart, they carry their own vibe, one that doesn't need to be chanted or mantric. Words from the heart, without repetition, speak for itself and it is noticeably felt.

Here is a story. My roommate had his Orthodox family staying over, at our place. I didn't like the idea because they weren't just Orthodox, they had christ in their hearts. It was draining for me. A healthy, happy, tight-nit family they are. I came home one day from work, to see them watching an Orthodox mass, that they recorded from their Slavic news years holiday. I seriously did not like it one bit. I sat down to watch. I felt how soothing the words were from the congregation, in the video, because they were actually singing from the heart. Then I felt how negatively charged the repeated words were from the priests. I was like, yeah I would live with this, because I can use that energy to work all kinds of things. I was mad, so I decided to make a black figure of myself appear, within the video, so that it looked like I was standing outside of that window of the home, of that video, which was filmed at night. I wanted to expel my anger, in a creative way. What happened as a result, it woke up their baby that was sleeping in the room. The baby looked scared. So what I did, was used the repetition of the priests' words to actually project an image on the screen. The energy from chants feels like a buzzing sensation in the air. I actually like Catholic mass, I actually like Orthodox mass and I like black mass too. All I see Catholic priests as, are as pious hypocrites, who think they are Jesus. I am putting a Catholic priest on my Satanic assignments list, so that I will have a goal, and that goal will do two things. It will make me the moat pious blasphemes hypocrite when I metaphysically make the next Catholic priest, that I find, say mercy. I am going to do this so when I tell the next person that thinks or says Catholicism is wrong, for whatever reason, that person will get a new mindset of what wrong is. I don't care for Catholicism because it is like lukewarm, and too many people use Catholicism as a excuse for not willing to face reality. Too many confuse Catholicism for christianity, and this really shows that they were so hurt by Catholicism that they have chosen to harden their hearts and find it hard to put their trust in Yahweh, forever more. Plus, it also speaks for their intelligence, I am sorry.

Well, what is a real Christian then? Plain and simple. They are followers of Jesus Christ. They use their bible as a measuring stick for truth. They see that through the Son, in their hearts as a one on one spiritual and personal relationship, that they then are worthy to reach the Father, after they live the days of their lives. They are martyrs, and selfless, and have the Holy Ghost dwelling within them and around them. They care for others, no matter what, and they know the difference between leaven and unleavened bread, and they know not to mix their yolk with those who are ungodly, yet they do try to show others their selfless ways. Christians just don't amount to denominations, although I will say that the Christians, in general, as a denomination, the Seventh Day Adventists are generally the ones that know their bible the best. I highly suggest Seventh Dayers, if you want yo learn a thing or two, then again I don't.

To answer the question, yes and no. The answer is yes. A better question would be, have you heard about them? I say that because they own a lot of things. For all we know they own this website. And the way that they generally work, or how they work, is through bloodline. Chosen families with purebred blood, chosen years and years ago by the sacred order of whoever and whatever. The holy-land now that of the witches, so to speak, has changed throughout history. The parable of this so called holy-land of the 'witches,' can be exemplified through Leviathan. The beast that rises out of the sea. It is condensed symbolism. That is all Leviathan is. The beast with the seven heads and so forth, is symbolic for what Revelations describes the beast as and where it or how it comes out ti be. Remember, any spiritual kingdom will not make its influence without the physical kingdom, nor will the physical kingdom exist without the spiritual kingdom missing thereof. Supposedly there has been six headquarters, or holy-lands that of the witches. I say that with pride, but this time I am watching my step to not fall. ;) Some believe the seventh headquarter, the seventh head, to be what is now where and when the Anglo Saxons were last known to have had their last bit of their witchcraft, which is known to be the United Kingdom (UK). Bankers they were set forth, and one can't do anything in this world without finance. You gotta be a banker if you want to control the world. Then through banking, one can own just about anything.

As not only a parody, I plan on going to school to get a degree in theology, then becoming an ordained Orthodox priest, that will specialize in exorcisms, then to become a vampire priest. Then at the same time, get my associates in accounting, so I can have not only possibly a very stable job, in order for me to pursue my occult dreams, but I will also become a banker. A banker and a priest. Not only will I have the finances, to do what I want, I will have the finances to tell myself where I can put my money, as my own 'holy-man.' Parody instilled into practicality, by a dream yet to come true: a banker and a priest. Hallelujah! What's it to ya?

So when my friend went to London for his vacation, I told him to kiss the wall of one of the Rothschild's mansions, because I idolize those guys. I also told him if there is one thing he can get for me, from that holy land, is a deck of tarot cards. So he did, but he thought it was weird that I told him to kiss the wall of one of the mansions of the Rothschilds. I even asked him, since he travels everywhere, to collect dirt for me, but he said he doesn't want to be responsible for anything. For now, I just have to collect dirt from nine places that could represent the nine continents.

Anyways, I think if one wants to know about the so called illuminati, they would also need to read about and learn the ways that people control others.

The movement was founded on May 1, 1776, in Ingolstadt (Upper Bavaria) as the Order of the Illuminati, with an initial membership of five, by Jesuit-taught Adam Weishaupt (d. 1830), who was the first lay professor of canon law at the University of Ingolstadt. It was made up of freethinkers as an offshoot of the Enlightenment and seems to have been modeled on the Freemasons. The Illuminati's members took a vow of secrecy and pledged obedience to their superiors. Members were divided into three main classes, each with several degrees, and many Illuminati chapters drew membership from existing Masonic lodges.

Originally Weishaupt had planned the order to be named the "Perfectibilists". The group has also been called the Bavarian Illuminati and its ideology has been called "Illuminism". Many influential intellectuals and progressive politicians counted themselves as members, including Ferdinand of Brunswick and the diplomat Xavier von Zwack, the second-in-command of the order. The order had branches in most European countries: it reportedly had around 2,000 members over the span of ten years. It attracted literary men such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Johann Gottfried Herder and the reigning dukes of Gotha and Weimar.

In 1777 Karl Theodor became ruler of Bavaria. He was a proponent of Enlightened Despotism and his government banned all secret societies including the Illuminati. Internal rupture and panic over succession preceded its downfall, which was affected by the Secular Edict made by the Bavarian government. The March 2, 1785 edict "seems to have been deathblow to the Illuminati in Bavaria." Weishaupt had fled and documents and internal correspondences, seized in 1786 and 1787, were subsequently published by the government in 1787. Von Zwack's home was searched to disclose much of the group's literature.

Another reorganisation took place in 1780 after the Lower Saxon noble Adolph Freiherr Knigge joined the Illuminati. In 1782 he gave a structure similar to the Freemason lodges to the order that had until that point, as Weishaupt himself conceded, not actually existed anywhere but in Weishaupt's head. Leadership of the order was given to a so-called Areopagus that consisted of Weishaupt, Knigge and others.

This new organisation allowed the Illuminati to recruit numerous Freemasons and infiltrate entire lodges against the backdrop of a crisis that the higher grades of the German Freemasonry were going through after the collapse of the Order of Strict Observance in 1776.This relatively apolitical and romanticising movement claimed succession from the Knights Templar and had enabled Karl Gotthelf von Hund to get the German lodges under his leadership. For years he had been claiming to be in contact with "Unknown Superiors" who had let him in on the deepest secret of Freemasonry. However, after no such "Secret Superiors" contacted the lodges after Hund's death in 1776, the lodge members were perplexed. At the great Freemasons' Convent of the Strict Observance, that was held in Wilhelmsbad from July 16 to September 1, 1782, Knigge and Franz Dietrich von Ditfurth, the second Illuminati representative and a most radical proponent of the Enlightenment, could claim the opinion leadership for their order. The templar system was given up and the Order of the Golden and Rosy Cross, itself trying to succeed the Order of Strict Observance, remained in the minority. The two Illuminati even succeeded in winning over Johann Christoph Bode, one of the leading representatives of the Strict Observance.

As a result, the disagreement between Weishaupt and Knigge intensified so much that it threatened to break the Order apart. Therefore an arbitral tribunal called a “Congress“ was convened in Weimar in February 1784. It came as a surprise for Knigge that the "Congress", in which among others Goethe, Johann Gottfried Herder and Duke Ernst of Saxe-Gotha participated, judged that a completely new Areopagus should be created. Both heads of the Order were supposed to resign from their positions of power. This seemed to be an acceptable compromise. It meant an obvious defeat for Knigge, as the founder of the order would probably still have the same influence even without the formal chairmanship of the Aeropagus. Silence and the return of all papers was agreed upon and Knigge left the Illuminati on the first of July 1784. From this point on he turned away from the "fashionable foolishness" of trying to improve the world with secret societies. Weishaupt for his part handed over the leadership of the Order to Johann Martin Count of Stolberg-Roßla.

While members of societies were quarrelling amongst themselves, secret societies had attracted the attention of the Bavarian authorities. They deemed the objectives of progressive-minded secret societies suspicious because they concentrated on changing the traditional order and on establishing a "rational state" by infiltrating public offices. On June 22, 1784, the Bavarian Electoral Prince Charles Theodore consequently prohibited any "communities, societies and associations", which had been founded without his approval as a sovereign ruler. With the insistence of Father Frank, the chancellor Baron of Krettmayr, the Rosicrucian Baron of Törring and other people at court, another edict was released on March 2, 1785, which explicitely mentioned the names Illuminati and Freemason. It banned them for reason of treason and heresy. During house searches various documents of the order that showed further circumstantial evidence for their radical objectives were confiscated. Documents which were found with a deceased courier gave away information about names of several members. In two letters to the bishop of Freising, sent within the same year (June 18 and November 12), Pope Pius VI declared membership of the order to be incompatible with the Catholic faith

Notable conspiracy theories involving Freemasonry include:
Political

That the judiciary is heavily infiltrated with Masons, who give fellow Masons "the benefit of the doubt" in court, subverting the legal system.
That Freemasonry overlaps with, or is controlled by, the Illuminati, especially in the higher degrees; Illuminati Freemasons secretly control many major aspects of society and government and are working to establish the New World Order. Some conspiracy theories involving the Freemasons and the Illuminati also include the Knights Templar and Jews as part of the supposed plan for universal control of society. This type of conspiracy theory was described as early as 1792 by multiple authors, beginning in France and Scotland.
That Freemasons have secretly plotted to create a society based on the revolutionary ideals of liberty, equality, fraternity, separation of church and state and (in Nazi Germany) a Jewish plot for religious tolerance.
That Freemasons were involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
That Freemasonry is a Jewish front for world domination, or is at least controlled by Jews for this goal. An example of this is the notorious (and fraudulent) The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Hitler outlawed Freemasonry partially for this reason. The covenant of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas claims that Freemasonry is a "secret society" founded as part of a Zionist plot to control the world.
Freemasons are behind income taxes in the US. One convicted tax protester has charged that law enforcement officials who surrounded his property in a standoff over his refusal to surrender after his conviction were part of a "Zionist, Illuminati, Free Mason movement,". The New Hampshire Union Leader also reported that "the Browns believe the IRS and the federal income tax are part of a deliberate plot perpetrated by Freemasons to control the American people and eventually the world."
That Freemasons hold meetings with influential politicians and businessmen at Bohemian Grove and that a statue of an owl (allegedly a masonic symbol) is worshiped at these meetings.

Religious

That Freemasons worship Lucifer or Satan, often attributed to quotes by Albert Pike.
That Freemasons worship Baal, Baphomet, Dajjal, or Rahu
That Freemasonry is occult in nature and worships their own particular god, such as GAOTU the "Great Architect of the Universe", or Jahbulon, an amalgam of the gods YHWH, Baal, and Osiris.
Cultural

That Freemasons intertwine various symbols and numerology into modern culture, such as corporate logos. [34]
That the United States was founded by Freemasons who have interwoven Masonic symbols into American society, particularly in national seals, streets in Washington, D.C., architecture, and the dollar bill.

Other

That Freemasons faked the Apollo moon landings.
That Jack the Ripper was a Freemason whose murders resembled Masonic initiation rituals.
That the KKK, Skull and Bones, and other organizations are intimately tied to Freemasonry.
That the September 11 attacks were astrological in nature, as part of a hidden war between Masonry (as descendants of the Knights Templar) and Islam.
That Freemasonry either aids or is made up of humanoid reptiles who control the world by replacing world leaders.
