i'd say read a introduction book depending on your path. look into meditation and energy work. learn how to charge and ground energy. those three things are 'basic' i suppose.

what are you studying? Wicca, Reiki, Hoodoo, Shamanism, Celtic, witchcraft...

Put a google search in that says "How to choose your pagan path". Plenty of options should come up. Good luck! :)
