Acceptance?
By:
I was wondering,,,,how did your parents react to you studying or practicing witchcraft?
My parents don't know about it because I know that they will strongly disagree to it and confiscate all my stuff, especially my tarot cards.
Oh and if it's not much of a hassle can you tell me your age and how long you've been practicing? I'm 16 and I've been practicing since July 2011.

Thanks you guys and Blessed Be,
BlueAmethyst

I was about 21 when I started, but I told my dad because I knew he'd be OK with it and he was. I still haven't told my mom, she does know I have tarot cards and spell books though, so she probably knows and just doesn't say anything.

Lucky. My parents are also religious, But when I was naive about the craft and its relationship with the Church, I aced my parents of they could by me tarot cards and they were furious. I was nagged at for a whole week! That didn't stop me though!!

I envy you. You're older so you have more freedom than me. Acceptance is really hard for me when it come to my ASIAN parents, my friend are really ok it with it though.

I've been doing healing and such since I was 13, my mother taught me that.
I told her that now (that I'm 16) I was going to research into it further and see for myself, practice. She didn't like the idea at all so I keep it hidden from here. She can't take away what I have, but she'll lecture me until I stop. Easier not to say anything.

I was 14, and I still haven't told my parents. I think they might have their suspicions, but I don't care. I will just carry on anyway :)

My parents are both catholic. My mom is more angry at me and calls me a "devils child" but my dad is more okay with it..only cause he thinks this is only a phase.

I'm lucky. My Mom actually introduced me to this stuff.
