astral projection is the capability to project your spiritual body were ever you wish. to see through your spiritual body's eyes were every you astral projected at.

which is projecting your spiritual body out of your physical body to go to different plains.

Yes. Many also believe that we astral project in our sleep, and that sometimes a dream is something that actually happened on the astral. I warn though, these are usually the dreams we remember least because, for reasons I totally do not recall, it is very hard to retain memory of astral projection once you return to the body. So don't go overboard and start assuming that all of your dreams are astral adventures - you have them, but you don't remember them.

there is a meditation before bead that can help you remember your astral adventures.
before you go to sleep meditate and go deep with in your spirit and program your astral body to carry a notepad during the astral travel. the next morning your should have a notepad by your bead to write down what your astral body wrote down.

This is some of the best advice ever. Even if you don't AP, just do it for recording dreams. In both cases you often feel like you'll remember it later, but you never do! If reasonable you may also want to get a tape recorder so you can just say what happened in your astral trip or dream, because I have felt dreams slip away even as I was writing them. If you write slow or are real prone to forgetting things or mixing things up, totally record it and write it down later.
