The term vampire stems from various folk traditions that were often formed from a lack of understanding of various medical conditions, such as tuberculosis. Conditions such as this would leave the victims lips flecked with blood, and if a corpse was discovered later or otherwise exhumed, it would give the appearance of having been active to the untrained investigator.

Many cultures also do have myths and legends of spirits and monsters of a variety of shapes, forms, and origins that take life energy, spirits, souls, etc. These have collectively become called vampires, and have all lent their mythologies to the fictions that most people know as the modern day vampire.

That being said, the modern day vampire simply does not exist. The spirits and other such entities spoken of in myth and lore may very well share attributes with Angels, but this is largely because Angels are a hebrew term for spirits of a higher order. All cultures have some concept of such spirits, and similarly all spirits share similar qualities... particularly when they are of a higher order, so to speak.

A vampiric spirit may well resemble some of the qualities of an angel, but this is merely because of the spiritual nature of the entity itself and not necessarily because they are one and the same.

As was discussed, psychic vampires do exist but it is often a condition that is viewed more as a medical matter than any true gift. Individuals who are genuinely psychic vampires will often feel unwell, unbalanced, and sometimes even exhibit physical ailments due to this "condition." In my opinion, as I have worked with many such individuals, these unbalances can be corrected and through working on the individual's emotional and spiritual well being, the entire condition can be corrected. They, like most such afflictions, are frequently the result of some sort of emotional trauma and or similar such emotional/spiritual injury.

Good job thinking outside of the box though.

I think when someone mentions angels as vampires, I think he or she means that that angelic being has fallen from grace. They are stripped of his or her powers, angelic powers. And well, we are all born with a mind, and what we choose to believe in, and what we choose to do with whatever intellectual and spiritual knowledge that we have, is our own doing and choice. Kind of puts a whole new context to the assumption of the word, vampire. Angelic beings fallen from the grace of Yahweh does sound like something vampiric, in a sense that such an angel is spiritual dead but undead. Yes, psi-vampires do exist. What do angels look like? I know there are many different forms, types or kinds. So yeah, angels as fallen angels. . . Probably way past most peoples intellectual bridled grasp. I don't know but its interesting. I am both an occultist and cultist. So I am a witch and metaphysical philosopher and metaphysical mechanic. Who knew there were facts and rules to metaphysics. "Who wants to be a millionaire?" All the above is my best guess, as so below.

I'm not terribly convinced that falling from grace means that an angel is fully stripped of their "powers." From most biblical and hebrew literature I have read regarding the matter, they are essentially themselves but devoid of the light of God. This would deprive them of much, but it would not necessarily make them vampiric.

Any spirit, or individual, can be vampiric if they so choose. *shrug*

ahh awake the gangster i think you answered all questions.. Couldnt have said it better myself i do have a spiritual injury and have tried to manipulate my emotions it doesnt work. Life is such chaos i think the only way to heal myself is to help bring balance to the world. So that way there could be enough positive energy to absorb. Thanks i will continue to make the forum a bit more interesting.

Yahweh is the hebrew word for god, and is generally a deeply rooted aspect of anything having to do with Angels.

I recommend sorting out what your trauma is, and exploring what steps you need to take to mend that trauma. Balancing the world may help, but you'll be better at that if you find balance within.

"Yahweh is the hebrew word for god"

A word for God, not the word. And it's really more of a name rather than the Hebrew translation for "God."

You guys can go back to vampires now.

awake i can't even begin, to sort out the trauma. Ive become or have always been, sensitive to the world. I had a nightmare a year ago ill never forget. It was of a abomination with childrens faces screaming help me. It represented how unbalanced this world is. That plus all the horrific events in my life, ive litterally survived on multiple spilt personalities. I don't even know the real me anymore.. Haha its pathetic... It will have to do.
