Thanks for the reply. The external conditions are fine. I burn candles and pray in the same room each night. There is no draft and no disturbance. I always meditate and I clear my mind of all unnecessary thoughts etc before i light my candles. And usually I get clear strong flames in both candles. This one time both were jumping for some seconds and then becoming calm at the same time. and this happened all through the burning. There was jumping and then there was calm. more calm than jumping though. I would assume there is nothing wrong with the candles as I use the same variety each night. So this time the behaviour of the candles was new to me.

And last night I used similar candles at the same time and the same room. The preparations, the meditation etc every thing was the same. But my candles behaved in a completely different manner. For the first time both candles were jumping practically all through the burning. both the flames were shooting very high. as though there was some competition as to who could rise higher. there was no damage, nor did i feel any fear. but both the flames were jumping from the beginning. there were small durations when both the flames would be strong and calm. but the last 2 hours of the burning, the flames were steady and strong and bright. But 1st one hour they were jumping wildly. This has never happened to me earlier. Can anyone suggest what this could mean?
