There are just a few things I would add to this to make it a bit more beginner-friendly.
The third eye is sometimes a tricky chakra to work with if you haven't already started with a solid foundation. I would suggest a person begin working with their root chakra and work up from there to, as I said, develop a solid foundation that will support your higher chakras.
Meditation is something I also wouldn't suggest learning on the spot. With some people it takes time and patience to learn a good method and develop modifications that works best for the individual person. I would normally tell someone to learn about the requirements or suggested components for practice before jumping into the practice.
Meaning you should be able to meditate before trying to open your third eye.
Summoning you spirit can also be something you might want to try a little bit further down the road. Again I suggest you at least know how to meditate first. I also suggest you first know where you stand as far as spirituality is concerned before trying to find your spirit guide. They are beings to help you, not spoon feed you.
Psi balls or what you may be referring to as energy balls are something some beginners find extremely difficult to comprehend and work with, regardless of how basic they may seem. To some people psi balls seem useless and dysfunctional and they question why they are unable to even see these formations. A beginner should understand psi energy and its function in some depth and again, have a solid foundation of energy to work with long before attempting to create psi balls.
