Considering sometimes there are loads of new posts every day, it can be difficult for the moderation staff to read them all. Aside from hoping people mail a moderator with a link to a thread, there is not really a good way to help rule violations come to the attention of site staff.

I frequently see posts with rule violations, sometimes at surprising rates. However, many go unnoticed, and I really do not like the idea of mailing someone every time I encounter another.

I think the forum could use a "report post" button, if it is at all feasible. It could (probably should) have a confirmation, and possibly a list of reasons to select. That way, all of the moderators could have a notice of a reported thread, and the first who has a chance can take care of issues.

Automated messages in chatter from the Priest/ess of each coven would be neat. For example if a meet and greet were going on the leaders of the group would use the automated message system for people just logging into Coven chat (Welcome today is our monthly meet and greet etc etc) , it wouldn't be seen by the public obviously just the Coven members. If something like that is possible we can even use it for current topics in our coven chats (Right now were talking about Van Van oil), maybe even the mods could use a feature like that for public. Just some thoughts.

A preview option for all posts, whether its spells, articles, forum posts, would be fantastic. I know obviously we have the box we type in and should use that to go over and check for spelling errors, etc. However, being able to visually see what it would look like once posted would help with formatting and catching things before actually submitting.

I don't know if it's possible but could it be possible to be able in a new feature to use animated Giphy images as profile pictures instead of just having the ability to use just a standard picture?

It'd be pretty cool if Tumblr and Instagram could be linked on profiles like Facebook and Twitter can. It would also be nice if the chatter rules were updated. Nowhere does it formally state, "brb" and, "lol" are exceptions to text speak rule. It probably should. Also, I would like more than anything for and edit feature. I chronically fiddle with my posts. Which means for me, copying, pasting, and deleting the old one over and over again until it's just right.

I'd suggest updating the Terms of Use by acknowledging the use of private messaging platforms like Discord and Amino for coven communication, interaction, and management. Stating whether or not it is appropriate to use these platforms with coven names/likeness and whether or not the same rules apply to these platforms as they do on SpellsofMagic (i.e. language, spam, etc.) The current Terms of Use don't specifically state that these platforms cannot be used for managing a coven community (i.e. sharing information, group messages, voice chat, etc.), nor does it state that SpellsofMagic rules apply to these platforms either. It would be nice to get some clarification on what is or what is not allowed when it comes to this topic.

I would like to see a chat feature that would also members to be able to have their Magickal Name displayed in their username. The feature could have a filter to keep swears and inaproperate stuff from being displayed. For example make it something like /nickname username MagickalName then the chat would display

Pike(MagickalName)
"words words words"

Thank you

I'd be interested in seeing a monthly site newsletter. We could have an herb and crystal spotlight, beginner tips, a spotlighted article and member, etc.

I'd like to preface this by saying it's not about me but about some others I've encountered here.

Would it be possible to add a "non binary" and/or a "private/perefer not to answer" gender option? I've met some people that would prefer that... they're non binary and they're not represented.
