Queen Mary Tudor has had a child I watched it in a memory of hers. Weird I know but that is what I saw.

It doesn't matter if you are or are not related to Mary, magic doesnt come from the people you came from. It comes from you and with magic you get what you put in, the more you study and the more you learn determines how "strong" you are.

Peace.

OK so not true magick and power can come directly from ascendants. but is increased with study. your either born a witch or you are not. there is learned witches but it is never the same as blood witches. and there is very few, real blood witches left it seems, only learned which is sad because I am a 7th generation blood witch.

I disagree completley eponaswolf.

I really do not think magic is hereditary, i do not believe that people are special in that they are born witches.

and a lot of learned witches give blood witches bad names, A lot of them are hyper active fluff bunnies, that would not know real magick. If it walked up and smacked them in the face. But I have met a lot of learned witches that are fantastic people and have a real appreciation, for true real hereditary magick

I just honestly dont buy it.

It seems pretty arrogant to say you are superior by blood relation to witches and that your magic reflects this. Wasn't it hitler who thought he was superior by blood?

Taliesin I appreciate, your opinion and I do not mind differing opinions. but this is just mine. I have members of my coven who have come from Christianity, and they are wonderful people. I also have learned witches, and blood witches in my coven all are equal in my eyes I have nothing against other paths and other ways of learning but I know my hereditary magick was passed down our line, and increased with my studies but it is in my blood and I will carry on the tradition of hereditary magick. What I do have a problem with is people who use magick in the wrong way are way too hyper active about it and give real witches, a bad name for we all know being a witch, is not just about heredity it is about the way you live your life that makes you a real witch not heritage, degree, or studies but how you use it, and how you live. part of the 21 rules to being a witch. which all real witches know.

That's where i got that idea. And i really see no point in getting riled up over people who "misuse" magic. If it's against their morals then they'll take that up with themselves in the long run. I've never heard of the 21 rules of a witch, then again i'm not a witch.

that is not the way i meant it, and your the one who cannot seem to handle someone else's opinion. I am just expressing my opinion, and how can you tell how anyone is feeling when they are typing? I never got that. But so you know i am not riled up over anything. just participating in a discussion. What I meant by that comment was it seems to be in the blood if you are drawn to the craft or not, some are drawn because of heredity. some are drawn because of beliefs either way is fine.
