Most religions begin with one person (nearly always a man!) "talking" with God.
Let's look at Moses. He started the Hebrew religion by going to the top of a mountain and talking with God. He came down again with two tablets of stone with ten "commands " from God. Not that there is anything wrong with the ten commandments; they are a good way of living a moral life. But why did this "all powerful" God not write the commandments for all humanity to see? Why did this God not speak to the whole human race, in every language?
No, he only spoke to Moses. How do we know this? Because Moses said so!
We are all entitled to believe whatever we wish to believe. Whatever gives comfort in our lives. Personally I do not believe in any of the "organised" religions; but millions do! And most of them condemn every other religion.
Many on this site refuse to believe that witchcraft is a religion; and they say so. That is their belief. It is not mine!

I believe that witchcraft is a religion. Someone posted a couple of months ago that if in our modern time Moses had walked up the mountain, come back with the ten commandments, and proclaimed to the world he had talked with God he would have been locked up because people would have thought he was crazy.
