My favorite was season of the witch. Even though I saw it before I made this post.

They should make movies that are real and practical magick. A war of High Magick vs Low magick. Witches vs Sorcerers. I would love to make one but I don't have the time or resources.

Remember always that movies are made for entertainment.The scripts are fantasy, imagination of the writers. Ever since Gerald Gardner published his book "Witchcraft Today" there have been movies,TV shows,and thousands of books on magic.Most of these are also fantasy; very few tell the truth.

There are great examples of songspell in that comedic classic, Hocus Pocus.. :D

Brysing has a point. WHY won't a soul make just 1 real movie. Even if it is real it would still be better than fantasy. Especially the stories about King Solomon.

Because the real movie would not be entertaining. It would only matter to people who knew the truth anyway!

I recently viewed an excellent horror film called; "Crowley 2009". It was good and sort of elevated Aleistar Crowley to the level of Count Dracula.

It is good, rated R, not for teens, nudity and graphic gore is a part of the film.

I saw it on Hulu.

Yet another "horror" movie telling "the truth".
Aleister Crowley was a very wealthy, well educated, clever man. He was also quite insane. Perfect material for a "horror" story; and about just as true as the Superman movies.

Think about it. The story of Solomon, not for the fame and fortune but the love of it all. The scene of it could be like the movie "300" the graphics would be awesome. Then it would be like Lord of the Rings style warfare.
