I think its a harmony of the eye and crown, if I may put it that way.. the feeling of knowing with no room or reason for doubt.. My grandma once told me it felt like I was "looking at her brain." I soon realized I was merely understanding her intention without actually listening to her words first. I tend to not look at some people directly in their eyes for the fact that I don't know how invasive this can feel to someone a bit more "sensitive" than average.

Actually this place has always had plenty of sarcasm and ignorance. Many times the sarcasm helps to break the tension that is created by the ignorance.

This "eyes of sin" does sound like one person's interpretation of the ability to use their third eye. When all the chakras are opened and aligned the third eye works to it's fullest potential. It can help a person to know the things that are unknown to many. Such as what another is thinking, if a person is being truthful, their own and others past, their own and others possible future, and much more.

In no way is this ability a sin or negative in anyway. Those who would refer to this ability in such a way are ignorant to the idea that knowing the unknown is a divine gift.

It is called the eyes of sin becuase as the legend goes it was the eye of the nameless sin demon himself, although I do not believe in such a demon but it is what it was called and it's not to undermine it.
Also knowing the truth all the time and the whole truth is a heavey burden, and if not used right it will be the greatest sin, perhaps it's another reason for the name, who knows?

I think the reason behind the name is the fact that they cannot hide there "sins" from it/them. Just an opinion, :D
