How'd you discover magic?

The way I learned was dark. I wondered if there was a way to see death himself so I googled it. This site was like number 3.

my high school had a world religions class, and every class had a big 40% end of semester assignment, and for that class it was pick a religion not covered in the course, research it, and then determine if it was a cult or a religion. i read through the list and saw 'Wicca' i had never heard of it before, but it intrigued me, so i choose it as my assignment. as the class went on a girl came up to me and said she was a witch so she lent me some books, and helped me, by the end of the semester, i felt it was the right religion for me.

I love magic, every since i was a little kid, i loved magic, in books, in tv, even in games, so i tried elemental magic, and learned i had a knack with wind.

Nature tought me I learned when I was young. no help with anything. something just called me and I realized it was magick. SO I tought myself alot not without internet or books. I learned naturally. When I found the Internet It was a lot easier. most of It I already know.

i always was interested in magic stories and tv and anything that had magic in it.. so when i was at a boarding school and i noticed a kid drawing symbols on a paper i asked him what he was doing and he said magick after that i was hooked

i was influenced to enter in the magic world since i was so young my parents are all christians but i always felt different,badly all the types of magic were condemned at my family but later when i was in the early 20s i discovered that my grandmother was a witch and i was not allowed to visit her as they said they feared she was looking for someone to inherit her witchcraft but sadly she died and i am not sure if she got someone to inherit her witchcraft in the other end i started to hear stories of my late grandfather i never met but they said on his death he turned to a white lion and anyone who is of his blood would go to visit him he will come and do no harm to you rather he escorts you to this day.so i realized i came from a family of magic and i started to remember the things i would dream and then they will come true,one day when i was mad a plate broke not once but twice in a matter of minutes and many more but in the middle days i lost track of myself and now i want to be a real witch who is commited

I don't believe that you can perform any magic without been given the talent from God. As an herbalist and a spell caster, i got my from God because i was born with it.

well i was always drawn to magic even that phoney stuuf magicians do

i discoverd magic when i was pist off at a person and tried to hex him, i think it worked he break his leg.
