The physical signs? No. But I'll admit I haven't seen a lot of "time magic." I've explored the various concepts used in viewing backward or forward in time, but nothing involving time travel. The "viewing" aspect exhibits no physical symptoms that I am aware of.

If the travel theory functions ideally, then perhaps one would simply not witness any physical symptoms. If something does not happen in the past then you would have no memory of it, either. Unless somehow you were "protected," and allowed to exist in two different realms of time so as to retain memory of what was before you went back. Further, if you go forward into time and make "changes," there is no guarantee that everyone will make the same choices that you followed into the future either... so everything you believed would occur may not, either.

The whole paradox thing is rather why the scientific community does not believe in time travel. You cannot alter the past without altering the present. Nobody is fading away as they did in back to the future... Choices simply do not manifest because they do not occur.

Look back at your own life with complete honesty. Would you even have explored magic to the point you have if situations were altered at some point? Maybe, but if not then you couldn't possible then learn how to do a "time spell" in the first place, and so you couldn't have altered the past and so we're back to where we began... effectively rendering time travel impossible or otherwise useless.

And what if you know the possibilities of the future? What if you could theoretically conceive of all possible outcomes and explore them all? What then? How many times have you known the correct action and still made a mistake? And if you do get it right? People throughout the world know the truth about a whole range of future outcomes. Nuclear weapons. Global Warming. Blah blah blah. Does this mean that they are making changes for the better? Slowly, maybe... but it's been a struggle. Just because you know the possibilities of the future doesn't mean you can shape everyone within your environment to improve it, also effecitvely rendering time travel pointless.

You want time to go slower? So does everyone. However if you make time effect you slower, then it would have to effect everything you interact with slower too or else you'd have incredible difficulty keeping up with the most mundane tasks. Imagine just trying to read the public chat when it is busy if you were slowed down but you didn't somehow slow down time for everyone else, as well as their computers and the internet. You would be responding to things that had already scrolled past, and otherwise delayed by seconds, minutes... however long you slow it by. Sounds pretty useful to me. Maybe if you were trying to pull off some sort of matrix-styled nonsense. Have fun with that.

And if you slow time down for everything? Well then, it's all at the same speed you're at anyway. Great. You've effectively altered time so that everyone can experience it at the same speed. Like it was before.

Oh, what about speeding it up? Ah, right. Same problem. You'd be sitting there waiting for responses from everyone else. Just going to speed yourself up? Well, have fun being frustrated with the agonizing slowness of everything else around you. Again, of course you could just want to be a lightning blur in comparison to everything else. Well, then you'd also have to somehow prevent that rapid increase of time on your own person from resulting in the increased aging that you'd experience over everyone else around you. Have fun being "old kid." Want things to go by better? Be productive. Time flies when you're getting stuff done.

How did it impact them? What was the result of the spell? What were they like before the spell?

Before the spell the grandfather clock acted normally ran by a batter which was replaced 2 days before with a lithium battery, and less than a year old. The watches behaved normally. Battery s about a month old,the work computer time behaved normally. They were self correcting when it came to daylight savings time.

After the spell the grandfather clock stopped at 2 45 ( I checked for a battery, it was there wasn't any buTtons to press to restart it.). The watches, one lost an hour the other lost 45 minute. The computer lost 2 minute and it took it dear sweet time loading microsoft word.
The effect was stopping the grandfather clock time, losing time on the watches and the computer. I didn't notice these signs until a day later.
So i think it was safe to say time was distorted. Or at least the physical reminders of it was.

Okay, is dejavu (spell fail) a result of this, where you know you've experienced a moment in your life before, and it happens again? I've had dreams about things and then they happen. Perhaps the dream was an odd memory of when time was distorted. I'm not sure. Also, I'll experience something, and then I'll see in my head a replay of it, giving me the feeling it's happened before, too.

I don't understand dejavu, (spell fail) but perhaps time distortion is what causes it.

What was the spell and how was it cast? I'm curious, particularly if it had such an impact.

And mark, dejavu is just when you feel like something has happened before. It is not necessarily magic.

it was a homemade spell.Nothing from a book. It was cast using a circle drawn by hand. i think it was a 3 foot circle. the circle covered part of desk and some room to actully spread out. i dont quite remember the words exactl. i didn't write it down. I barely even remember the name of it. i think it was called 3 moments of time. i do not exactly rhyme my spells. i just go with whatever just flows out of my mouth or my fingers.(i type a lot)" 3 moments of time is what i need,so take my surroundings and do what you must so i can get this work done" thats the spell. its a little odd but then again im a little odd

Not so odd. But what was it supposed to do?

This has not been explained yet.
