it is where you spirit leaves your body. it is said that once this happens you can see the dead and monsters.

well, you should look it up..... there can be more than one definition...Astral is when you are looking at things from a different points of view, when you are having a vivid dream is more probable you are doing astral projection, since every body has that ability, but few can really use it as they wish.
