You will never learn everything. Magick is a life long study.

If you wish to learn Necromancy, learn divination since that is essentially what it is. The use of spirits to find answers through divination.

What you are asking for is what psychic vampires do; take energy from a living thing.
Visualizing someones aura "implode" isn't going to do anything but give you a picture in your head. Actually absorbing energy take a lot more than visualization.

You said as though you are not going to use it in evil ways, yet you would have to be if you needed to drain the life force from an innocent human/animal in order to survive. Besides that, if you wish to study it, why would you want to become the test subject rather than letting someone else do it so that way your life is not harmed in any way. Think before you act!

heani, taking energy to survive is not evil. That would be like saying if we eat anything (because even veggies are technically alive to some degree and defiantly have energy) to survive, we must be evil.

We take energy all the time from various sources for various reasons. When some people cast spells, they use the energy from herbs, crystals, candles, the elements, the moon, their deity, ect.

To take energy because you are not capable of replenishing your own to the degree you need is simply survival and survival is natural.
To do it for kicks and giggles, well..to each their own.

@heani
Many people will study branches of magic to either understand what its capable of, to gain better insight into the nature of energies, or even to understand it enough to be able to better counteract its effects if they are subject to it. Knowledge for knowledge's sake isn't "evil" or even reckless.

The vampiric aspect of working with death energy is usually used to replenish the vitality that accepting death into your system removes. Though it is my belief that one must be willing to accept death for what it is to adequately understand the energies, and if used Properly it isn't as detrimental to ones health as many believe. Death, after all, is simply the essence of Change in one of its many forms.

Simple visualisation isn't the only part of any magical working, though it has its uses, and the connections are abit more intricate then indicated.

@ hexlordi My advice is for you to learn how to heal people, and simply come to the understanding of reversing the process.

Lockna,yes you are right,anyone can drain energy,but the label just defines what Hexlordi wants to learn.
Vampiric necromancy is known to define energy feeding.
You can even search it up in Google,if you like for better info on it.
