Tarot for Beginners?
By:
I've had many tarot readings done for me and have a lot of interest in them, so I wanted to learn how it all works and do it myself. I have some tarot decks and books in mind I would like to start with, but I could use all the help I can get.

What decks or books would be best?
Any helpful websites for beginners?
Advice?

This is a free website that has great lessons - http://www.learntarot.com/

as well as charts and some sample readings for you to work with. I just happened across this site today and thought it funny that this question was asked and thought it would be of some help.

Also making sure you attune to the cards helps greatly as well. Though no one deck is for everyone, generally speaking go for a deck that calls to you. Also when you first get your deck meditating on each card, and leaving the deck under your pillow or near your bed helps create a bond with the cards as well (you'd do this for 3 nights).
