I may be new, but unless you intend to go completely insane from the deaths you see and feel you shouldn't even try. Plus, to go against the will of nature and the will of the universe in such a way, no matter how much power you can accumulate, is impossible. All in all, the idea of immortality is not a good idea for anyone. It is immpossible for any amount of witches to do so, for even one person.

Your soul is immortal but not your physical life.
The body itself has its own time of death depending on what you eat or do.Physical exercises perhaps?

I would not say its impossible but i would rather live longer than facing something of this so called "cheat code:Live forever".

Have you ever thought of how much pressure one can endure if he/she had immortality?Chances are that you're gonna suffer mental break downs due to death, sadness and people taken away from your life. Not only that, you are also delaying time and death itself and slowly these two will pull you into confusion.

Hence,to live forever means to suffer even more. You need to know these because in life, its unfair.

I think that if the universe wanted you to be immortal you would be. Cause when we cat spells we simply speed up or slow down the process which has already been set in motion.

Well if there is birth, there is also death, and then cycle goes on, the soul is immortal too BTW. To some we will experience the cycle of Birth and Death as our souls choose to continue to live as a human being.

That's Yin and Yang for me.

your soul is immortal to a cartain degree it will be reborn every so years and a new life is born it is the same soul just not the same characteristics or behavior your memory is stored in a vault of some sort that is very easy to gain access to with the right abilities and guidance

Some possible and plausible theory:

Biologically, old-age death, cancer and the like is related to cells not regenerating or mutating. To create biological immortality the cells would have to regenerate properly and would have to repair and slowly replace dying organs within the body. Theoretically it is possible and who knows what science may come up with in the future.

Binding of the soul to an object, tying your soul into something within this life may prevent death or even freeze aging? For example, should you die, the part of your soul that lives in your body would join the part that lives in the soul-bound object (also known as a phylactery). A phylactery may be any item, the plainer and less expensive-looking the better, think of Lord of the Rings, and how Sauron uses a plain gold ring to bind his soul to.

well immortality can be a tricky thing. my soulmate is immortal. so am i but i am different. she has lived for over a hundred years. call me a lier but i have proof. but u kind of have to see it for your own eyes. she lived the first 20 years of her life normally but then she started to reverse. her hair changes colors. her body grow and recedes. shes been able to manipulate the elements and fly. she can no longer do much because of a few reasons. she has many scars but they appear and reappear randomly. even her birthmark. she has her ears pierced but she is in a withdrawl phase so now she only has 5 holes in all. she has had her whole body covered in tattoos but then after a long time when she returns to the withdrawl phase they start to bleed out and they disappear. the only thing that continuously ages on her body is her eyes. theres an old saying that the eyes are windows in the soul. she has only had 2 past lives before this one and they didnt last long. i have had too many to count. but we cannot be killed until our purpose has been served. and then we die. when i met her she could down 5 bottles of tequilla and do any drug and still go for more but then she went through another phase where she couldnt drink more than half a bottle. before i met her i could withstand fire without being burned but we make eachother weaker in many ways. immortality cannot be gained. it is granted but it is a curse. it is not a burden for everyone to bear. because everytime something is supposed to kill you someone else's life must be taken. shes been shot in the head and flat lined 3 times in one night on more than one occasion. all of those times someone else's life was taken. once again call me a lier. you are intitled to your opinion.

i know how to make my self imorrtal but i chose not to why would you want to live forever you would suffer the pain that death prevents life is a blessing i get that but to be imorrtal is a curse. i seek magic for gain but not for a selfish reson like immortaity. i would force a reversall of youre immortal powers if i was you because being immortal prevnts the life of new children to be born and the only reson i would conside immortality would be if the girl i want to live with for ever is a true immortal. and i would not alow my self to suffer a immortality of life if it means i dont have the life i desire and nobody will ever tryly have that exept gods. i dont mean to sound rude but the only reson i contributed to this talk is because of the morons that would bost about being immortal.

Immortality is in my opinion impossible. But I advise you not to try it, have you seen the film Dorian Gray? It may be unreal but he ruined his life because of his immortality.
