this is actualy everyone saying you can not become one. I realy do have to dissagree with you. I know of many incedences where it has happened to one extent or another. It can happen, not always but it CAN. I do not suggest it. It is not always safe. And in the end you will probubly wish you diddnt do it. but for those of us who who it has happened to, or that know it to be true. could you please atleast say that "YOU are unable to preform something like that" or that you dont BELIEVE it to be true. Instead of makeing it a factual statement when you can not prove it to be true.

Cjjohns, I am a bit disappointed in you, stick to a program of time and discipline, you will not be a great man in Magic overnight. Vampires, lol, cmon man, what do you really want to know? Do you really want to learn? I asked you this when you mailed me, all this stuff takes time, and hard work, there are no shortcuts, and despite all the talk about Energy Vampires, and their pseudo-followers, VAMPIRES DO NOT EXIST except in books and the movies.

@CrystalStorm

I have heard the theory that enough massive trauma to the energy body Could *potentially* cause a blockage or restriction that the body is unable to create or channel enough energy to sustain itself. If the theory is sound then enough spiritual damage could cause symptoms of psi vampirism, requiring a person to feed on energy (not human energy Specificly) to suppliment it.

But as you said, who would want that? Especially for virtually no benifit.

By the same token, you have the opposing theory that basically "rewrites" the energy of the individual's spirit, helping to stabilize and keep from degenerating, deteriorating, etc. This generally leaves the individual as not having to feed off of an outside source.

As to why one would want to be unbalanced and dependent on outside energy? The sheer romantic fantasy of possessing some variety of vampirism. Though, you could essentially do the same thing and feed off of another's energies without possessing any of the deficiencies without really needing to change anything about yourself.

Taliesin says "No need for profanities". I have looked carefully at all the posts on this thread. Where are the profanities?

Why would you want to be a vampire? It's just a more glorious word for an energy-parasite being.

To use someone's psi you don't have to be a ''psi vamp''.
If you can manipulate your own psi you can manipulate another's as well.

And the blood sucking ''vampires'' to my knowledge don't exist. There are people although who do believe that they need blood, and believe they can fulfill their nutritional needs by consuming it.

There is a certain romantic feel to it, and somewhat mystical as well but you can't truly transform yourself into something that doesn't truly exist... You can however alter your appearance(fake teeth..etc), and habits (drinking someones blood..etc) to what you believe is a vampire trait, and then you would be a ''vampire''.

the human stomach can't handle human blood it will just through it back up and you'll might end up with a disease that is nicknamed the vampire disease becaus the person will get blisters and redden in sunlight and will have a addiction for blood.

Like seriously... here I am looking for ways to help people who have become energy vampires due to constant exposure to another energy vampire (which they cannot avoid contact with) But want to return to a normal state of being, because being an energy vamp IS NOT FUN! And then I come across bird brains who want to become vampires. The only conclusion I can come to is that the world has finally lost it. And If that 2012 prediction of the human race being wiped out is true, then I welcome that end with open arms. The universe can do without some of the moronic people who think its cool to do stupid things...Sorry for the outburst... couldnt help myself
