I think that your just misunderstanding what he is trying to say. Curses can use anything, any object, any energy, and so on. Why? Any is something that can be used to empower the curse or just be used to keep the curse in the object so the person that touches it will be cursed. Use anything because there are tons out of tons of ways to create something that can be used to help a curse. Energy is the base, without it it will just really fire randomly until it finds someone or just not work all together.
Either the person says they are being cursed and feeling cursed is different. When someone on the site say they will curse you, you have a feeling they might do it. Mind over Matter, a powerful tool that can help you or burn you. If someone does say they will curse you and you really believe they have the power to, then your body will panic (lets say it panics) and you picture some kind of pain and you think your feeling it.
To gain energy on the computer threw the net can be done. But even tho it can be doesn't be it is easy to do so. Some people do this without knowing and others just block out their energy flow when they are on the net. Energy falls off your body to leave a trail lets say. On the computer the energy main fall will most likely be the keyboard since your touching it the most. Now if you focus your energy into the keyboard and into the computer into the net, then your sending your energy into the computer internet with the username you have. Again people may do this without knowing. Even if that has happen, energy can be mixed. If this happens, like a bird learning how to fly, then all that energy will be mixed and not in order like it is. Unless of course their is something that is making them not mix. If any of you have someone read you on the net or cast a spell on you on the net. It could be because you feel "safe" enough to be done so. I use safe when you know they won't curse you. Or that you have been mistaken on what they have done. Either so it really doesn't matter.
Creating your own curse... That might take more skill then the people that go on this site... You have to understand the color meaning, what objects you need to power the spell, and what hour of day and when the moon shines. Since it is over the net and can still be done, you still have to be sure it is strong and won't backfire on you or do nothing. You can't just create a spell without knowing what will help it or even be a base for it.
Your mirror spell, it sounds like it can work...but when you say "good and bad, so once you break the curse, remove the mirror" So your spell only somehow sends it back but it still haunts over you until you find a better way to break it? Not enough info like should the mirror be normal or a black mirror...
Laughing can be used in many ways, not just one like laughing at the casters face. You can be around the caster and have a good time by showing a laugh. In this way s/he thinks it isn't doing anything and by over think the spell.
You seem to be a bit on the show off side when you said that you have been on this site longer then most people been alive. This is kinda a good thing if you know yourself but it does show that your mad.
"Books are all fine and good, but are nothing compared to experiences." Your right, but he did said and shown he had experience with some curses... "There are some curses where you just look at them, evil eye (I seen it done before, it isn't pretty...)" That there is proof enough for me to see that he had experience with some curses, if he seen the evil eye done could of been himself or herself or on someone near by. Am not going to say books are bad for you because it doesn't, lets say give you experience, you don't need any in order to study and practice magick. Heck a few books I read had some quests or tasks for you to do so you have a better understanding to what they are saying. If you find any good books then you will find some that will let you do some magickal tasks. Besides you can't just learn everything just by experience, you need something to give you that experience. If it is people you trust like s/he did or books to follow because where you live might be hard to find another magick follower like yourself.
I hope that I could clear this mess you two have made up, it was all of a misunderstanding and a few people throwing words into each other mouths.
