I love learning, but only if its topics in which I'm interested like magick and programming. Not topics like history or geography.

Your spells can be useful if you must gain knowledge which you're going to use just once. Example, you must memorize the names of all the guests who will be attending a function.

However, if you need to learn something for a job, you need to learn and practise. It won't help to learn everything like a parrot and you can't apply it in practice.

Well, that's how I see it. :-)

Well, I suck in explaining things, but Leopard kinda got it. I hate what I'm studying now. He said he likes programming, me too and I have an A without using anything, well I'm also very good in this. I also like history, but I suck in it. Finished high school with A, hard work, a lot of reading :) but when it's up to some useless stuff... come on, if I'm ever going to be engineer I'm going to need tons of stuff that I can't learn in the collage and nearly nothing of what is studied in there. I never judge the people and try to be nice and helpful to everyone, please, don;t judge me. I posted this here mostly to get a comment on how to perfect this "skill" and maybe be useful to guys who are stuck with too much and hard exams

In life there is no easy way, no instant method, no must be fun criteria. You are bound to have to learn things that are dull, boring, and realitively useless. All you can do is make the most of it, get through it, and do what you have to do for the time being. As I said before, if you can get through learning one thing, then it helps you to further learn something else.

If you find a subject you have to learn, for whatever reason, to be boring then try not a cheating method, but rather a self changing method. That is to say, instead of cheat, change your view on the subject.

For example, history and English have always been my weak points(not including foreign lang). I never thought much of learning things that happened in the past or how they could be of any use. Nor did I ever have much ambition to read the many novels/texts required by school/college. However, make it about the history of magick, something tech related, or even nature related, or something I could actually put to use, and you have more of my interest. As for English, give me a novel about magick, wizards and the alike, and I'll read right through it till the end, often times finishing it in a few days time(just look at the list in my profile).

My point is, theres no need for cheating at anything. It doesnt show your true potential, nor can you take pride in getting a good grade, cause lets face it, you didn't do anything.

Things one could do without:
Cheating
Plagerism
Stealing(in any form)

Things one should stride for:
Learning
Studying
Ones Own Research

And the list goes on, feel free to add to it

Glim

I just wanted to point out even though some of the stuff you're forced to learn may seem boring and pointless, often there's a good reason your school/university/country force you to learn it.

I'm personally a very sciencey person; I took all science subjects throughout high school and I'm now studying a very science-based course at university. In high school, we're forced to take english in my country. I hated english with a passion and thought I would never need it again. As a result, I only did enough work to scrape the grades I needed. However, throughout my course I've had to write numerous essays and articles. In my first year, I had to basically relearn everything they taught us in high school about effective and persuasive essay writing. I can write half decently now, but my first year would've been much easier if I had actually paid attention in english at high school.

My favorite quote to live by= 'An investment in knowledge pays the best interest'
