Morning Libations

This is something I do every Morning when I get up to send respect to all my loved ones and all those who have died in the line of battle for our country.. I enjoy doing my morning libations and I have for quite sometime now..I wanted to share it with you so that any of you interested could learn it and do it for those who have passed that you wish to remember as well.
I actually learned this from a really close friend of mine (rosecorpse) and I want to give credit for the great mornings I have in doing this and I hope you have will take time to learn it and do it as well..

The first Liquid of the day are offered to the dead. before refreshing yourself, fill a cup with coffee, water, juice or whatever liquid preferred and stand over an open peice of ground holding the cup in both hands. Inscribe a crossroad in the air in front of you..Pass the liquid through the center of the crossroads with a slight throwing motion. Allow the cup to leave the grasp of your hands for a spirit second as it passes through the crossroads say....
''To those who are named'' (repeat the names of those you wish to remember)
pour out a bit of liquid
''to whose names have been forgotten. lost in the seas of time''
Pour out a bit of liquid
''to those whose bones lie within and upon this land''
pour out a bit of liquid
Raise the cup with both hands and say..
''To you from the living....

Now take your first drink of the day...

Thank you for reading this and Blessed be to great Morning libations...

That sounds great, but I may make a slight change to it. I have a lot of people to do such a ritual for and it would take a long time for me to list them all. Chances are, by the time I finished listing them, it would already be time for me to get ready for bed.

So, instead of saying "To those who are named" I would probably say something like "To those whom we remember" and leave it at that. That could also cover the soldiers I don't know as "we" would refer to the living, at least for me it would.

Anyways, thank you for posting this, Drakken.
