Rosemarie is correct. Most decks do come with a book that helps you understand the meanings of the cards and certain layouts that you can use. Once you know how to read them and such, just go by the feel of them. By this I mean the energies and emotions that you feel flowing about them when you do a reading. I find this method works best for me. However, we are all different; therefore, we all do a reading differently. Practice with them and bit and find which works best for you.
