Witching Hour

It said in the past History in the 1920's the witch hour was said that the Witching was 12:00 midnight due to the fact that the Sun is furthest away. Most spells that take best effect consist of the Lunar energy.

Has anyone heard of the witching hour? Is it real or just movie stuff?

Its my understanding that the witching hour is 3:00 AM .

I believe it to be 3am, But most time spell casting, is based upon.. not only time but days, planatry.

I would actually say b/w 12 midnight and 3...and I choose that time span for a reason...Of course, keep in mind, time as we understand is simply something manmade for us to add sense in a universe of chaos...k, if I remember correctly that timeframe is when the moon is at its apex in the sky, so it would make great sense that magick would be more effective while the moon was in that position...Also, 12 is often considered a number of completeness and balance(Best examples of 12 that I can currently think of: 12 Tribes of Israel...)it should also be noted that 12 holds signifance bc it is the number b4 13, which is usually considered unlucky...While 3 is also a number of completeness and balance, though generally considered more signifant than 12(examples: Holy Trinity, Unholy Trinity, The Rule of Three)...It is on the ideas of completness and balance that our universe works...so to me, it would make the most sense to put "The Witching Hour" b/w these two times bc the numbers directly b4 and after them either have a more negative signifance or very little significance...
