Then you totally misunderstand Wicca. Wicca is a religion, not a stream of magick.

Wicca is one of many magickal beliefs. Its not the only magickal path out there. Wicca tends to lean more on loving earth and respecting it....and there is nothing wrong with that however to assume that everyone should think the exact same way you do is wrong. Wiccans tend to be as closed minded as the christians when it comes to believing in other forms of power.

And since Adon didn't add this, I will; not all Wiccans nor all Christians(being a Christian myself) are close minded. To believe that they all are close-minded just because they believe a certain thing, in my opinion, shows how close-minded and ignorant you yourself are(this is not directed at anyone in particular, simply at anyone who stereotypes all practitioners of a religion as being exactly the same).

I never said that. I only asked if he had something against Wiccans. But glad that you respect people's choices.

Actually Ragnorok....i do not judge a religion by its practitioners beliefs.....i judge it by there holy book or books. I have read the bible through and through (over 14 times and have found numerous contradictions) and it does state quite clearly that all those who practice any sort of magick will not enter "the kingdom of heaven". Now...i do not believe in the bible but that is what it says.

Now...to rebuttal the usual comment that comes from a christian who still wants to practice magick. First here is the comment: "The bible was written and translated in to many different ways to believe everything the bible says."
And now my response. That statement is very true...however if you are to denounce the only book that keeps record of the actual words of Jesus then you are no christian. You cannot pick and choose what u want to believe from the bible. Either its all true or none of its true(other than what is historically accurate ie..Jesus was crucified). If you pick and choose then it is strictly a made up fantasy which has no factual baring what-so-ever.

Does anyone understand that Wicca, is a very generial term? There are many traditions within Wicca.

I am also wondering why this person posted 3 topics at this point about wanting help not from wiccans, and they are upset that no one is emailing them. There must be a reason why they are not receiving messages and instead of getting upset at the ignorance of a individual or individuals who do not understand wicca, witchcraft or other magickal paths or traditions. Allow this person to get the help they think they need, and let them find the path for themselves.

Only a fool argues over the foolishness of others.

Think many of you have it wrong. She obviously has no issue with wicca she would just like to learn other types of magic within different religions.

Wicca is a branch of the Pagan tree but even within the it's own branch it has many different types.

If you would like to contact me feel free to visit my myspace.

I too am not into Wicca. Too many rules for me as well, lol. I like things MY way (I have a hard time with authority I suppose). I began with Wicca because it was all I had available to me at the time (borrow books before I discovered the internet, lol) but I would consider myself a practitioner of Chaos Magick. I don't like to label things, but it is as close as I can come to categorizing myself.

I am not into religion at all really; rather, spirituality. I have never found a set of rules I completely agree with in any one practice, so I started off very eclectic. And here I am today, a whole mess of things lol :D
