I've been browsing through this site for a few days, and I have come across very few articles or forum posts on anything except spells. I'm actually quite saddened by this. Many of the people on the site call themselves wiccan, or another form of witchcraft, and for them, spell work is not the center of their chosen path. Many others point out that they hold belief in a selected pantheon of gods (Celtic, Norse, Greek, Roman, Egyptian etc.) and for them as well, spell's should not be their central focus. For the various traditions of witchcraft, and as a general rule for anyone who pays homage to a god or gods, spell work always comes second. There are very few posts about the various Sabbat or Esbat rituals. These religions are based on the worship of the goddess and god, in all their aspects. As another point I don't believe I have seen a single post on how to properly cast a circle and call the corners, which is where nearly every spell is performed in witchcraft. If it hadn't been for a few of the people I have met so far on this site I would have been led to believe that there wasn't anyone on this site that truly understands what witchcraft and Wicca really is.
Everyone can flame me if they like, but this is just my perception on an issue that I have come across since I joined this site. If you do not fall into this category because you do not claim to follow a tradition associated with witchcraft, then it is not meant for you. However, if you are wiccan and you know the Sabbat and Esbat rituals, how to cast a circle, drawing down the moon, etc. then don't flame me. Prove yourselves by making articles and forum posts on the subjects and not just talking about spells. Share your knowledge with people just coming into the faith. I shall do the same. I am working on an article as we speak on proper Sabbat and Esbat rituals.
Thats my little comment...so let me feel the flames that I know are coming
