Who said I was using the bible. All religions are wrong and all religions are right, the religions of the wrold (that dose included pagan and satenest) are just pieces of the hole picture. Anyway we are all satenest as long as we have sin, including me. We are just mere mortals to the heavens, how much do we really know about this world and the people that live in it. Just open your eyes and the world looks a lot different then trough your eyes alone. Alowing other thought, ideas, and believe in you and you will see the world anew. And who cares what other people say about magic or what we believe in, they are no different for us are anyother people, so stop complaining, and start seeing. And dont be insulted of what i've say.

There's a ridiculous answer to almost every question that doubts Christianity, those few men who wrote the bible did a good job.

I will try to dismiss your stupidity and justify it with double of mine.

Like I said before this is a moot point where both parties are guilty of doing the same thing and both parties are putting the other ones down for doing the same brainwashing-robot like type of practice.

I guess its whatever choice of stupidity you find to be the most bitter-sweet. I find it to be the most despicable form of justifying a cause by trying to put another one down. Specially when all your doing is the same type of practice but in the reverse form.

This is why the world will be a better place without any type of following of any kind except where it is used to better the next person's life.

I doubt that either side is doing that here...

Religion in any form really boils down to ones faith and in their own personal beliefs. Each has the freedom to choose and follow the path they feel is best for them.

I doubt most believe 100% of ANY religion, even those who are avid followers/practicing. Let's face it, everyone knows that the Bible was altered during translation from it's original text. The only way to get the real deal is being able to read the original text. Not many can therefore, the changes made are what is taught over and over. What some call "brainwashing".

One needs to look beyond what they read and use their own common sense and find the path that works best for them. One's "faith" is just that and beyond reproach.

You people are very defensive of what you believe. All I am talking about is the union of all believe including all of yours to, or are you scared of being united.

Faith is an important concept for religion, or a belief in God. I personally cannot see how one could believe in God without first having faith in God. The way I define faith comes mainly from the scriptures, or my interpretation of them. Faith to me is evidence of something that is not seen, it is a hope which will eventually lead to a knowledge that the thing in question is in fact true. Faith cannot be destroyed, except by the person who had that faith. Meaning, the only one that can argue or question our faith is ourselves. Faith is not religion, rather it is necessary for a belief in God which religion teaches.

The way I view each indivivual religion is that it is either true or it is not. Granted if it is not there are truths that I would most likely agree upon within that religion.

>>For i do not like to see this tremendous and incomparable force, this magnificence gone to waste on something so simple.

What is wrong with judging? You're judging the idea of God right now. Why can't he do the same to you?

>>The God that religion wants us to believe in is just a dictator. A big vengeful force that loves to be served and loves to have everyone on its feet. Like an evil king who takes advantage of its position, having everyone to live in fear of even their own thoughts. And if they don't do or even think as It does or as It wants them to think, they are gonna be punished.

You aren't understanding what is meant by punishment and are applying such a negative tone to him.

>>Don't you find it contradictory when they say : " You are made by the likeness of God" "God knows you completely because He made you what you are" But then if you choose to doubt, they say: "You are not to be saved for you do not believe".

It's not contradictory. They don't have to be inline with each other.

>>Now I tell you this: Its contradictory because if God made me who I am, and knows me completely then he knows that I love to think and I love to doubt and WILL not go by what other people tell me. That I do not like to follow blindly what other people say its the truth. Because it seems stupid, it seems empty.

So, if you think he already knows this, don't you think he'd know it was contradictory, if it really is?

>>More religions are popping out of nowhere lately..each one even more stupid than the last one. And what's even worst, the people that follow them are dead serious into thinking that the hold the real truth. I don't know about you, folks, but they look dead brain washed to me. Like zombies.

The same thing that let's you feel like a questioner and open minded is the same thing that lets them think the way they do. Don't they have the right?

>>God, knowing me as I am. He cannot punish me for choosing NOT to believe in these mental voids of society. For he gave me an open mind to be doubtful. And thats the beauty of intelligence.. of doubt. it makes you want to know..to learn more, to keep looking.

Have you even taken the time to understand what is meant by 'being punished'? There are websites that speak of the meaning of passages from all the versions of the bible.

>>I've seen parents not talking to their grown sons just because they chose to believe in a different religion.

It's not limited to just religious subjects.

>>And think about this, religion was SUPPOSED to have been made to unite us all. To look for and find salvation. But its not like that.

A religion is not the followers.

>>Thats why I don't think that religion equals God.

No rational person would ever confuse the 2, since one is an act and the other isn't.

>>I don't care which religion you believe in. You'll agree with me in this. God is intelligence. God is more than what they teach us. NO RELIGION could ever KNOW for sure what is God's will. God is Science.

God is not science. It is not limited to such singular definitions. God is not a method of understanding (science), it is being.

>>However, fact is, religion is the oldest running scam, and to pay it any creedence is folly. Maybe, there is no 'perfect being' or 'creator of the universe.' Maybe these are fairy tales, goofy, spooky magic invented to keep the sheep in line.

The practice should never be confused for what some have done with it.

>>It clearly says in the bible that if you do not accept Jesus as your savior and God as the creator of the Universe you will burn in hell for eternity.

Jesus is the Word of God, what God used when he spoke. Look up what Logos is. The Word of God should not be limited to just its material incarnation, Jesus. Burning in Hell for all eternity is staying within the context of Good and Evil and never getting out of it.

>>I was told God created the earth from a very young age and I was brain washed, which is like most people these days.

All kids are brainwashed. Christianity is nothing special.

Why should one will govern the integrity of the universe? And why should God damn a person for something HE believes is wrong? Surely he would send a person to heaven no matter what he dopes, as long as he or she is 100 percent convinced it is the right thing. This could include 'terrorism', or whatever you want to call it.
I've just personally never really been convinced by the Christian, Jewish and Muslim idea of God, and I know there's alot of criticism of God on this site but I think alot of people can empathize with me here.
