a question

maybe im readin 2 much into this, but i was wondering something, and i was hopin ppl who know about shamanism and totems could maybe help with this

my friend had a dying or very sick raccoon show up outside her house, it came from the nearby dumpster, if it wanted food or shelter it coulda gone to the house closest 2 it...but it crawled staight to her front doorstep inch by inch then finally laid down at her door, stayed for about a half hour then vanished...i think it has some special meaning...im not sure what tho...what do u guys think?
