I do not understand why people feel they need to be so hurtful to others. Not only are you not helping the situation you are part of the problem when you act like a pompous a$$.
As for a Horcrux like object I do not think that one is known to the this world of magic at this time. However many forms of magic have been lost to this world or have never been realized. I do not see why such an object could not be created. The possibility of such an item seems like it could happen for the soul can move from one living thing to another and it can be split into many parts if the Gods allow it.
