Indeed interesting, and I wonder what this process is inspired from. What do the different cards represent? How does dragging the cards over eachother connote imparting luck?

I have an idea that people can use playing cards as a dtand-in for tarot, and tarot cards have a variety of meanings and representations so my assumption is that's where this is being drawn from. Is that correct?
