Personal Bio
I have been studying magic and the occult for about 13 years now, with a bit of practice and experimentation. I am a natural, instinctual and somewhat fickle man. You will rarely find me doing spells/rituals, however; when I do I prefer to keep things simplistic and bare-bones. My most powerful and successful magic has been performed by using natural objects and meditation, perhaps a candle and a chant. Complication and routine leave me feeling empty and confused, uninspired even.
For myself, magic, is being connected to nature, to the energies all around all the time.
It is in the lengthening shadows as they stretch through the forest and claw the ground,
It is in the wind that nudges us along our path and speaks in the trees with a scratchy voice
It is in the approach of storm clouds as they pile high and dark gray, crawling closer and closer, ready to unleash their webbed lightning that stitches the sky together, while their thunder hums a baritone warning of the needle-like rain about to sting the elated watchers.
It is in the willfully flickering candle flame, melting the wax that sustains it, in order to provide an autumn-like glow.
It is in so very very much more.
A few hobbies I enjoy are: poetry and lyric writing, cooking and baking, walking, reading, listening to music, sewing, candle making and antiquing.
