First, I would like to say hello to anyone looking at this.
I wish I had an interesting story to tell, but that's part of why I am here. I'm trying to figure out my story.
I am a small town girl, born and raised on red beans and rice and gumbo. I love Louisiana. I believe it is a state with a lot of history and very diverse culture. It truly is unique.
I am a Registered Medical Assistant and Certified Ophthalmic Technician. I currently work full time Monday-Friday at a large ophthalmic practice.
I have 3 children and 2 step-children. I am so blessed to have them, and my wonderful husband who is supportive of all of my endeavors.
I would say that I believe that I have a very strong faith in God, but I am very open minded to different beliefs and love learning about various religions.
While I strongly identify myself as a Christian, I can not help the fact that there are some things that I need to explore for myself. One of my New Year's resolutions is to help develop my "clair" abilities. Another of my resolutions is to learn Tarot and to learn it well.
During my studies on both of these topics, then of course, I encounter learning about spirit guides and angels and past lives. Diving into all of this, I am finding that more and more interests are being awakened within me, leaving me wondering, "Who the heck was I in a past life?" Lol. Leading to my third resolution, which is to learn the art of belly dancing.
Anyways, besides all that, I have always been interested in magic, spells, healing and helping others. I have not really dabbled in any of it but it does have a strong allure to me,and I believe it is something that I seriously want to study. I would like to study an area of magic that wouldn't necessarily dismiss my Christian beliefs but more or less compliment my Christianity.
