Salutations!
I am an animist. I suppose in my sense, I find spiritual satisfaction in study and nurturing growing things, which brings me to my two main interests: herbal healing and astronomy.
I'm fairly new to this, as my birth religion, Christianity, only brought me bitterness and misfortune. With shattered faith, I cast spirituality from my life. That is, until simple discoveries and premonitions concerning the metaphysical beliefs caught up with me. This community and these beliefs, that I had been told since infancy contained evils, I found to contain the only real truths.
I conserve in myself the belief that herbal medicine and spirituality is not the poor cousin of modern manufactured pills and syrups, but rather, the mother of modern medicine, with very much left to offer scientifically and that spiritual and physical health are intertwined.
I recently made a regular habit of smudging my house and honoring Diana. Even so, I crave further knowledge concerning all walks of the metaphysical.
I am a gentle soul, a careful follower of the moon and a garden geek. It's pretty easy when you live in the forest. :)
I study all types of magic and record spells where I find them.
