Hello my name is Don Henrie and I am 38 and yes I have a girlfriend. I currently reside in San Diego working as an actor and model for Exile Asylum. I am also known as "The Vampire Don" yes I am a living breathing vamp. No we do not fly, live forever, kill for blood, blow up in the sun etc all those are ridiculous stereotypes and anyone who gives into those or thinks they are a vamp because of those things needs professional help. I shall elaborate for you. many people have chain mail things on their profiles saying not to bully Goths or emo kids/teens (many Goth are adults now a days) when they never stop to think that it may be the other way around at times. I know MANY Goths that have been the bully at some point in their life and they picked on the posers. (poser Goth is someone who claims to be "gothic" not Goth (yes they're different), who always act depressing, shop at hot topic, and only listen to Manson) now here are the differences
GOTH: Is anf offshoot of Punk and came about in the late 70's and early 80's and originally Didnt even call this Goth or wear dark colours until much later.
Emo: can be traced back to a failed music genre and who also have Chauve roots (they beat up Goths btw) and is now crappy mush
GOTH: Is about finding beauty in the dark.
Emo: expression in rather harsh ways at times
Goth: is about happiness in the dark part of life
emo: sadness, self harm, literary self expression and whatever else they claim.
