Merry Meet. My magickal name is Lady Lovecraft. I was raised in the Christian Faith but I have always been drawn to witchcraft and the occult. At a young age I would often use the elements and crystals along with my prayers. I was doing magic then, even if I didn't know it at the time. I guess you could call me a hereditary witch of sorts. Witchcraft goes back in my family to my great-grandmother, who was known to either bless or curse people she knew depening upon her mood. Unfortunately, my mother refused to pass on any of this knowledge to me based on her conservative beliefs. I began conciously practicing witchcraft around mabon 2011. I am very much in the broom closet. When I think of God and Goddess I stil relate most closely with the Christian pantheon. I see Jesus and Mary as the phisical incarnations of Jehovah and Sophia. I guess you could call me a Sophian Gnostic Witch. However, do not believe that this world is suffering or somehow anything less than perfect. I am also a pantheist I believe the God/dess is in all things. I do not believe in hell or original sin. Those concepts were inserted for the same reason the the Christian Goddess was removed, control. I do not believe that the magic that I do is sinful and I do not believe that Jesus, his disciples, or the early Christians in the first hundred years after the crucifixion would either. I also believe in chakras, meridians, auras, and that everything is energy. I believe in reincarnation, energy can never be destroyed only changed. I am currently very interested in astrology, tarot and kabbalah. understand that my beliefs may sound strange to some but I think that in the end we are all on different paths to the same destination.
