General FAQs

1. What are good beginner spells to start with?
   There aren't really "beginner" spells. You should learn Your basics first, tools , meditation , grounding , casting circle ( depends on tradition / system ), crystals , herbology, est. Than you may want to start with protection and self improving spells, such as, increasing spiritual awareness est. Join some coven if you aren't a member already and consult your priest.

2. If I cast a spell that will make someone fall in love with me , would that be black magick?
   First of all , refrain from too common use of term "black", when you speak of magick , magick does not have color. But yes , altering someone's free will is what is considered, harmful and unfair use of craft. However this choice is entirely on You to make!

3. Is there a shapeshifting spell on this site , that works?
   I doubt there are such a spell, furthermore I truly doubt they ever were. Practitioners would always use illusion spells for such a matter. You may however want to consult some Shaman (Shaman's way on this site is a good idea ), or check a "Wizardology" and try "Anifornum spell". Fell free to ask If something remains unclear.

4. How to change my eye color?
   Illusion or glamour spell, but this is "advanced" craft, really. And the change itself is temporal. If you're good in ( advanced ) biokinesis , than you wouldn't ask this I believe. For now, contact glasses.

5. How can I open my third eye?
   Through meditation, practice, prayers to correspondent Angels ( such as Asariel, Uriel, Lunarus ), mugwort, yarrow, rose petals, cinnamon, mixed as incense or brewed, wearing crystals like cherry opal, hawk eye, sodalite, amethyst, or moonstone. Visualize your third eye chakra as a vortex of purple light, going inwards, to be done as often as possible ( daily works the best , two to ten minutes each day should be enough.

6. Why is Book Of Shadows called that way?
   Witches were always persecuted and tortured so they had to practice craft secretly. Especially in the middle-ages. They wrote down their secrets, recipes and all sorts of info into paperblanks they called Book of Shadows, because they practiced their craft secretly, in Shadows ( metaphorically ) .
