I recently researched spirit traps out of curiosity. I found a couple of examples, but no defineative explanation of how to do it, or how they work. Just said they are good for a year or 2 burried and then the spirit gets mad and comes back to torment you. I guess people more experienced in banishing evil spirits use them to buy the victim more time until the spirit can be dealt with. Its a little confusing to me and it seems that if you used a flammable trap you could burn it.
