Welcome newbies to the Occult! I am LadyFaust, and I just can't get enough of helping people, so here's a free lesson right off the bat! (Assuming you came here right after registering anyway)

You are a human. You will always be of the human species. You cannot be come a vampire. You cannot become a werewolf, dragon, mermaid, you just can't. You cannot become a creature other than human, that would mean completely rearranging various genetic codes, and that's not something what will be achieved by magick.

The true meaning behind 'shape shifting' is purely astral. In traditions such as shamanism, we shape-shift our spiritual bodies. Our physical bodies do not change, though some attributes may show through such as instincts of that animal as we connect with them spiritually. Our bone structures do not change, we do not grow fangs or claws or tails. The transformation is all on the astral plane. Even if it could happen on the physical plane, it would be excruciatingly painful and an extremely few amount of people would do this of their own will, much less teach one how to do this.

Bottom line, you are, and always will be human, so now you don't need to go asking about how to achieve this impossible feat.
