"Magick is both an art and an science..."

I fear that some of us has forgotten about this saying. Magick isn't about what you wish it to be, it is about your life and how to make it better. Just like any other religion, it brings peace to mind and gives you hope. What could be better than doing a spell/prayer knowing it will affect your life for the better? But doing magick to be a vampire or just because you are bored isn't really magick, just lust.

Magick is an science because before we can do said spell/prayer we must understand how it works. Unlike just praying to an higher power, you learn how to use yourself, items (including natural items), and the higher power. Knowing how to use all three or even another one you have found is what makes this a science. Knowledge is power, this is what makes our religion (depending if you are pagan, wiccan, voodoo, or whatnot) different from the other major religions. We are taking a stand and using ourselves than just trusting everyone on one being.

We also help each other on this site. Help like giving advise or share what we have learned. So I hope that this has reminded some of people that have forgotten that this is an science, not some Harry Potter book.
