To make rain stop?

Because its the scariest thing because it started raining and my aunt was visiting and her car is really bad in the rain she's hit a lot of cars during the rains I figured "No harm in trying of these what I'm sure are fake "Make rain stop" spells" so I tried it and now its all gone and completely removed from our area and its like blindingly bright outside now

I'm not sure if its all just happening and I'm thinking it worked (Which would be weird because it was said to rain a very long time a ton WAS over our area) or if it worked when its something I never really believed could work
