the ankh is an ancient egyptian symbol used for immortality and balance. very powerful :)
the star and crescent for instincts on the the ouija board is the symbol of the moon goddess dianna and the son of the morning which is the name of lucifer. when the moon(crescent) is facing upward with the mouth in the upper left
